MIDTHINGS is a brand created by Akihiro Kondo, blending contrasting elements to uncover new value in ambiguity and the "in-between." With a focus on the warmth of natural textures and craftsmanship, the brand offers designs refined with a modern sensibility. MIDTHINGS seeks to create pieces that resonate with the wearer’s memories and personal stories, forging a deep emotional connection.

Born in Tokyo, Akihiro Kondo graduated from Bunka Fashion College and went on to pursue advanced studies at Bunka Fashion Graduate University.

He began his career in fashion design after receiving the 2nd Prize in the 87th Soen Award.

In 2015, He worked as a designer for a collection brand while also contributing to image visuals and lookbook productions.

Later, he established his own design studio, Lyuno Design, collaborating with multiple brands as a fashion designer while also pursuing a career as a photographer.

In 2025, He launched his new fashion brand, MIDTHINGS, introducing a unique vision that integrates fashion with the essence of craftsmanship.
